Kemijoki Ornaments, R0422
At the place where the Kemijoki and Ounasjoki rivers come together, in Rovaniemi, the capital of Lapland, you can find the Santa Claus Village, crossed by the Arctic Circle. It is said, that this is Santa's official hometown. Here you can meet him in his workshop or send a wish list at the post office. You can now bring a little of this Christmas magic home with the Kemijoki christmas trees. Perhaps you will put one of the small trees in an envelope along with your wish list and send it to Finland. Santa will be happy. In the same way that no two Christmas trees in the forest are alike, you can knit your Kemijoki Christmas trees differently. Narrow and tall, by working decreases in every 4th round, or cuddlier - then you should knit stitches together in every 3rd round.
