Antke Cowl, S10753
A cowl is actually similar to the scapulas and cowls worn by medieval monks. Today a cowl is more of a wide turtleneck cowl. The Antke cowl is knit as a long, narrow tube, then the edges are connected with a mattress stitch. The yarn floats become invisible and the finished piece is pretty from all sides, no matter how you wrap it around your neck.
