Mermaid ‘ALBA’, S10566
Martyna from Marblerie designed the ragdoll-style mermaid "Alba" worked in Catania. Unlike Amigurumis, the body is not worked in spiral rounds, but crocheted flat, then joined and stuffed. There are no limits to your creativity as far as color choice is concerned, you can choose from 100 solid Catania colors. Marblerie also shared a little story about her Alba. "As a small child, I was at my great-grandma´s house telling her that sometime I would like to see a mermaid. We were speaking Polish and the words for `deer´and `mermaid´ are very similar. My great-grandma was very surprised and answered: `what, you can see those in the zoo!´. Which is why I dragged my family to the zoo and while everyone was admiring the animals, I was so full of hope and looking forward to the mermaid enclosure ..."
