This great maxi scarf is an all-rounder (appr. 18 in. wide, 79 in. long/46 cm x 200 cm) and worked in warm red shades in Catania and Corsica. Whether you wear it over your shoulders, as a scarf or as a stole with a tie belt – just be creative with your styling! The knitting also calls for some creativity as the scarf is worked in squares, from which new stitches are picked up along one side to start the next square. The appealing stripes of the squares are formed by knitting the center stitches together. The basic pattern is worked in alternating rows of garter and stockinette stitch. And with this much creativity even beginners will have fun! Just try it!
