Cowl TONI is a great one-skein-project for beginners. You only need to knit a ribbed scarf with a length of approx. 50 cm/20in, but then you join the ends with a little twist, using the provisional crocheted cast-on with the help of chain stitches, which is explained in detail in the instructions. The cowl has a circumference of approx. 50 cm/20in and a width of 27 cm/11in.
